Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials is provided for a duration
of two years after billing date.*
Only original buyers of the engines are eligible warranty claimants. The warranty
cannot be transferred with a change in ownership.
Warranty claims will be subject to examination of the faulty engines/parts by
MVVS or it's representatives.
The warranty does not cover:
- any normal wear that might occur
- damage arising from accidents
- damage arising from the use of an unbalanced or damaged propeller
- damage arising from the use of a too small or a too big propeller
- damage arising from the use of low-quality fuel
- damage arising from the use of other than original spare parts and accessories
- damage arising from sucking any debris into the engine
- damage arising from any improper use or storage.
Warranty services do not include shipping cost to, and from PRME.
Warranty shipments that include customs dues will not be accepted.See instructions below.
Warranty instructions:
- Discuss the Warranty issue with prme
- Ship warranty items as registered mail.
- For contents, state "repair goods"
- For value, state Euro 20.00 (If the stated value is higher, customs will charge import duties)
- PRME will not accept parcels with import duties. They will be returned to sender.
* Exteded Warranty, starting with sales as of March 2009:
Electric motors have an extended warranty of three years.
Petrol engines and their ignitions have an extended warranty of three years, 120 hours operating time, or 1000 starts, whichever is first. According to abovementioned conditions.
