Four–Chamber Alu Tuned Pipe with muffler: Has front inlet and rear stinger. Header recommendations: The short length is for best power/high rpm, the longest length is for best throttle management as needed in aerobatics or 3D.

Three/four–Chamber Alu canister muffler with front inlet and front stinger The short, "K-type" mufflers are thicker to provide the same muffler volume. /3 = 3-chamber /4 = 4-chamber The 4-chamber design ( type */4) has typically 5dB(A) less noise, and slightly improved power characteristics. These patented design mufflers are made of decent thickness material, and all parts are laser welded or soldered, so there is nothing that can start to rattle and cause wear or radio interference. Ball Headers (patents pending)

At the moment only available in 25 and 28mm.

A ghost image showing the range of adjustment for the new style MTW ball header, which will make it very easy to adjust the header to fit the location of the muffler.
Sideways adjustment is possible as well to provide the height adjustment to your canister muffler.
The ball fit is tight, so it will keep its position when demounted for brazing. When fitting the prototype to my 45 MVVS, I was amazed at the ease of working with this system.
These headers also work well when combined with tuned pipes.

Mounting instructions:

After cutting the total header length to tuned canister and/or plane requirements, fit the ball header to your engine (picture 1). Adjust side offset with the first ball joint, nearest to the engine.
Next, align the end section of the header with the canister or tuned pipe (picture 2) , while holding the first section in position as much as possible.
Take the header from the engine without disturbing the joints, and braze the ball joints.
If done properly, the fit is exactly to your model's requirements, fast and easy, without the use of leaky flex parts.

Swan neck headers for MVVS engines

These headers can be made with a vertical offset (drop toward the engine cylinder head) of 0mm, 25mm or 50mm (specify on order)
Standard engine side thrust is 2.5°. Other values for drop, reverse drop (toward the crankshaft centerline), and side thrust at special order.
